Grown and distilled on Young Living’s own farms, peppermint is another fabulous mainstay essential oil.

If you missed our overview of the virtues of peppermint essential oil, head over here to discover what makes it give off Antarctic vapours and why Friar Tuck might have done well to avail himself of it. (Hint: could be handy on Christmas Day or Thanksgiving when eyes can be bigger than bellies.)

Now on to the practical side of things: how to use it! Just as we’ve done for the other ‘everyday oils‘ like lavender and lemon, here’s a quick list of things that make peppermint indispensable.

The Young Living Everyday Oils Collection is a great way to get started with essential oils and includes 5mL peppermint, though personally, I’d order a 15mL peppermint as well and keep the 5mL size in your bag or pocket. (Yes, it’s that handy. If you don’t believe me, tip No.9 could change your mind.)

Please remember to follow the usual guidelines for safe use of authentic essential oils and dilute if needed. And if you’d like to learn some simple application methods for essential oils, check out our video series starting with this user-friendly technique called the Valor Balance.

Young Living carefully monitors the production of its oils from beginning to end through its unique Seed to Seal® process, ensuring the purity of each essential oil and protecting nature’s living energy in every bottle.
