Frankly, I’m a maximalist. So when it comes to writing about natural products for minimalists, I had to phone a friend!
She’s just moved from a house with heaps of storage to an apartment with the opposite of heaps of storage. And she’s amazed at how much stuff she has, even though she thinks of herself as being more on the scaled-back side of owning possessions.
So with renewed vigour for streamlining even further (necessity is the mother of invention) she gave me her ‘must haves’ that she’s planning on keeping around in a fairly tight space – the products that will multi-task and cover a variety of needs while leaving plenty of room in the cupboards under the kitchen and bathroom sinks for important things like shoes. Her words, not mine.
ONE CLEANER TO RULE THEM ALL
Young Living Thieves® Household Cleaner will cover every possible cleaning need you can have. And my friend is neat as a pin and very fastidious when it comes to cleanliness, so if she’s happy with it, I’m going to venture a guess that 99.9% of people would be happy with it. I know I am!
To give you a rather messy example, just last night I stood unsuspectingly in a mound of freshly-regurgitated cat grass blended with kangaroo meat, left as a Thank You gift by the cat I’m looking after, carefully positioned half-on the timber floor and half-on the rug. Ahh, how sweet!
Hobbling on the edge of that foot, I located my spray bottle of diluted Thieves® Household Cleaner and paper towels, sprayed my foot liberally then wiped off the goo. I then proceeded to clean up the meaty/grassy melange from both timber floor and rug with paper towel and spritzed both with the diluted Thieves® Household Cleaner. Using more paper towels, I wiped the hard floor clean then patted at the rug in a combination of pressing and releasing with a touch of circular rubbing thrown in. Eureka, the mark came right out of the white pattern.
