“Forgiveness is not something you do for someone else, it’s something you do for yourself.” Jim Beaver

(Companion oil: Young Living Forgiveness™.)

I’m not a follower of soccer (football, depending on where you come from) but when I saw the highlights from Brazil’s 7-1 loss to Germany in the 2014 World Cup semi-finals earlier this week, I felt for those players with the weight of the host nation’s expectations on their shoulders, not to mention their own.

In the aftermath of the match, I couldn’t help but wonder how many of them would be beating themselves up inside over things they felt they could have done differently, should have done differently, might have done differently.   And I hope they can let go of that and transform those feelings into something positive in time for their coming match to decide 3rd spot.

When we think of forgiveness, often our minds go to how we need to forgive others or ask for their forgiveness when forgiving ourselves is what we really need to do.

With its blend including melissa, frankincense, angelica and jasmine, Forgiveness™ can enhance the ability to release negative memories and move beyond emotional barriers — to forgive, let go and move onwards.

If you’re feeling badly about something and suspect some Forgiveness™ would not go astray, rub a drop or two around your navel then cup your hands and inhale. It can be worn as a 100% natural perfume, too — not that the Brazilian football players might see it that way. But you never know.

Enjoy the good oil daily.
